HAR Market Snapshot - 11/30/2021 - 12/6/2021

New listings picked up after Thanksgiving for the week ending December 6. However, compared to 2020 for the same period, new listings were down 6.0 percent year-over-year—marking a fourth consecutive weekly decline. Closings, however, showed a strong recovery with more solds—on a year-over-year basis, closed home sales showed an 11.7 percent increase.

HAR Market Snapshot - 12/7/2021 - 12/13/2021

For the fifth straight week, new listings were 17.0 percent behind 2020 levels. Sold listings also trailed behind 2020's Week 49 with a 3.5 percent decline on a year-over-year basis.

HAR Market Snapshot - 12/14/2021 - 12/20/2021

Week 50 trended a sixth consecutive week of declines in new listings—down 9.2 percent year-over-year. It also marked the second straight week of declines for sold listings—4.2 percent behind 2020 for the same Week 50. However,  local home sales are 12.0 percent ahead of 2020 0n a year-to-date basis.
