HAR Weekly Activity Snapshot - Week of 6/22/2021 - 6/28/2021

After a flat performance the week before, new listings picked up during the week ending June 28. REALTORS® entered 3,279 compared to 2,770 in Week 25 of last year—an increase of 18.4 percent. Local home-buying activity continued to defy gravity despite the market’s low inventory. Closed sales totaled 2,502 versus 1,922 for the same period as last year—a 30.2 percent increase and the 18th consecutive positive week! Source HAR-CLICK HERE FOR FULL REPORT.

HAR Weekly Activity Snapshot - Week of 6/29/2021 - 7/5/2021

During the week ending July 5, new listings had a setback, possibly due to the July 4 holiday and summer vacations— a decline of 9.9 percent. Probably because of the same reason, July 4 holiday and summer vacations, home closings saw its first decline when compared to the same week last year (closing same period last year were primarily elevated in July after closings delays due to the pandemic).
