Karen’s real estate career started with her college internship in New Jersey back in 1996. After graduating from Rutgers University in 1997, she moved to Texas where she began her real estate career in new construction and serving first time home buyers. Karen has been part of the award winning Matthew Guzman Team at RE/MAX Universal since its beginnings.
Karen’s own experiences give her an extra passionate edge to help distressed homeowners and families of veterans. She specializes in Short Sales and Foreclosures.

Outside of real estate, Karen is an active member of the Board of Directors of the Klein Band Association, volunteering with the American Red Cross since 2017 and championing causes of various Texas non-profit organizations.
